MIXED UP CRAFT

My obsession with Card Stock!

I’m currently away visiting family so I’ve been unable to do any crafting, however that doesn’t mean I cant buy stuff!

Firstly I was wondering around Sainsbury’s yesterday and browsing their magazines. I came across Mollie Makes a beautiful, colourful magazine.

The cover instantly caught my attention and the free pack of pretty pencils was a nice touch too.

Its packed with wonderful ideas and straight away it was giving me so much inspiration.

It’s a very thick magazine almost book like hence the 9.99 price tag but I think well worth it.

This issue has very pretty paper and card templates to cut out and use.

I found the illustrations to be gorgeous and as someone who has very recently taken up Calligraphy writing, this issue has a lovely article teaching you this art.

If only I didn’t live in China, I would happily subscribe to this fantastic magazine.

I also picked up a copy of Making Cards magazine, it came with a nice set of Photopolymer stamps and a 31-page book of pattern paper.

I love the Owls & Feather print.

In a previous post, I had mentioned about the paper stacks I brought in Poundland, I love their craft stuff so had to pop in again and see if they had any new stock.

Jackpot! I got the last of these Linen Metallic card packs. I got 10 packs each containing 18 pieces of card in 6 colours. So I think 180 sheets will keep me going for a while!

I had a wander around the charity shops also, I like that they open on a Sunday.

I found these bags of brads. These go great with the metallic card stock.

Last few finds were these small red hearts, perfect for my shaker cards and some more cardstock from Wilko.

Itching to make stuff with all my new cardstock!
