Mothers Day cards

So to kick start my Mothers Day series I thought what best way but with some homemade cards.

I made 6 of these super strong, sturdy 4.3/4 x 6.7/8 cards for friends to give to their wonderful mums.

I used the lovely Linen Metallic cardstock I had purchased from Pound World with the matching bird print card stock.

Cardstock sizes needed are…

Large coloured card 6.3/4 x 4.3/4

Large printed card 6.3/8 x 4.1/2

Medium coloured card 5.1/4 x 3.1/4

Medium white card 5 x 3

Small coloured card 3.1/4 x 2. 1/2

Small white card 3 x 2.1/8

For the inside card, sizes are…

Large coloured card 4.1/2 x 6.5/8

Large white card 4.1/8 x 6.1/8

I made matching envelopes with highlights of the card design.

For the ‘World’s best Mother’ sentiment I used Stampin Up ‘A Nice Cuppa’ stamp step, the ‘It’s Your Day’ sentiment was from Stampin Up ‘Fabulous Four’ stamp set and the simple ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ stamp was a freebie from a magazine a long time ago along with the flower die.
