MIXED UP CRAFT

Large Hexagon gift box.

I have found myself making so many square and rectangle shaped boxes I’m starting to get bored! I find myself often scoring scrap bits of card and playing around with score lines and by doing this is how most of my designs come together including these Hexagon boxes.

These are a really good size measuring 5.1/2 wide from point to point and 4.1/2 in height.

To make these you will need…

Coloured card measuring 11.5/8 x 8/1/4

Score along 11.5/8 side at 2.3/4, 5./1/2, 8.1/4 & 11

Score along 8.1/4 side at 2.3/4 & 5.1/2

You then need to notch along your 11.5/8 side with the tab on your right-hand side at

1.3/8, 4.1/8, 6.7/8 & 9.5/8

Coloured card measuring 8.1/4 x 6

Score along 6′ side at 2.3/4 & 5.1/2

Score along 8.1/4 side at 2.3/4 & 5.1/2

You then need to notch on your 6′ side with the tab on your right-hand side at

1.3/8 & 4.1/8

X 6 pieces of 2.1/2 x 2.1/2 patterned paper, I used my Stampin Up Cupcakes & Carousels DSP.

Circle dies for tag and sentiment of choice.

Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made these.

These are really fun to make and a nice change from square boxes!

Hope you enjoy.
