Happy Sunday everyone
I love Sunday mornings, I’m sat here in my dressing gown in my very clean and tidy craft room with a nice cup of tea looking forward to a day out with my husband, a nice lunch with room for some crafting later.
Yesterday was World Card Making Day and to mark the occasion I done my first craft along live on my Mixed Up Craft Facebook page
After a dodgy start (bad phone angle and bad auto focus) I got there and was joined by 7 others for a hour of card making and chit chat.
I showed everyone how to make these super cute Corner Pop Up cards.
I had a paper pack from Making Cards magazine, it was from there July Edition however here (as of 08/10/2017) you will find their last 6 months of back copies which you can still purchase online plus and they offer international shipping.
I love these papers and wish now I had used them earlier, you get to themes, these adorable little critters and some lovely happy birthday papers.
These papers worked really well with the Corner Pop Up Card as I could build the themes up to create a perfect scene.
I love a Belly Band as as these were quite bulky I felt this card needed one.
I really enjoyed crafting live, it was lovely chatting with other crafters and making new friends.
