Hi everyone, sorry for the late blog post, this tutorial was posted yesterday on YouTube but due to it being my wedding anniversary I didn’t get round to updating Facebook or my blog!
Here is the super cute Cosmetics Gift Box.
I needed to make this for some birthday gifts I had and I’m really pleased with the finished look.
Made using one piece of 6 x 6 paper means, not only is this easy but also quick, it would also work well for Christmas and stocking fillers.
To make this you will need…
1 piece of 6 x 6 patterned paper. I used the wonderful ‘Oh My Heart’ papers from Pink Paislee by Paige Evans
Score along one of the 6′ sides at 1/4, 1, 1.3/4, 2.1/2 & 3.1/4
Whilst writing this blog I noticed that I score correctly but say a measurement wrong. I say 1.1/2 instead of 2.1/2 but as this is after I’ve already scored at 1.3/4 you shouldn’t make any mistakes and can clearly see I score at 2.1/2 and not 1.1/2 (apologies)
Score along another 6′ side at 3/4, 4.7/8 &5.5/8
The stamp used was from an old retired Stampin Up set called ‘Amazing Birthday’.
