Hello everyone, we have been hit hard by the snow this morning so I’m all cosy with a cup of tea writing this blog post.
Today I have project number 4 of my Mothers Day Series 2018
Personalised Mini Notebook
These pocket-sized notebooks are so handly, I wanted something small for my bag with plain pages that I could just scribble on, these fit nicely in any handbag and because they are laminated they will last for some time to come.
My mum is always writing on random bits of paper which is why I came up with this mini version of my Travellers Journal.
To make the Mini Notebooks you will need…
1 piece of 9.1/4 x 4.1/2 patterned paper for your notebook. I used the Beyond the Shore & Wanderlust paper packs from Hobbybase enter code MIXEDUP at the checkout to receive 10% off your purchase.
Score along the longest side at 3.3/8, 3.7/8, 7.3/8 & 7.7/8
3.1/8 x 2.3/4 of patterned paper to create the side pockets inside.
1 laminating pouch.
Approximately 24 sheets of copy paper cut down to 6.1/2 x 4.1/4 slipt the paper so you have 2 piles of 12 sheets and then and then fold in half along the longest side making two 12 page books.
Around 10.1/2″ of 1-2mm elastic. Mine is on eBay
Two 13-16mm Velcro dots. Mine is on Amazon
1/8 hole punch.
Corner punch optional.
Ribbon and embellishments to decorate the spine.
A laminating machine.

These are a pretty quick project to make and would be good for craft fairs.
Easy to refill and wipe clean.
