MIXED UP CRAFT

Gift Card Purse or Wallet

Hello everyone, I hope you are all enjoying your Bank Holiday Monday, I plan on doing nothing apart from eating and watching movies! If some of you plan on crafting today maybe you would like to give my Gift Card Purse/Wallet a go.

Gift Card Purse/Wallet

I shared a little sneak peek of the gold one I made last week on my Facebook page and a lot of your seemed to really like it.

Gift Card Purse/Wallet

These are a smaller version of the Clutch Bag Gift Bag I made earlier last year and again a lot of you really liked it.

These are really easy to make its just punching all the flowers out that is the time-consuming part…but well worth it.

These are made to hold a gift card perfectly but will also hold money and a small treat making them a perfect gift.

To make these you will need…

1 piece of 6 x 6 card for the main case.

Score at 2.5/8, 2.3/4, 2.7/8, 3″, 3.1/8, 3.1/4, 3.3/8 basically every 1/8 of an inch.

1 piece of 1.3/4 x 6″

Score along the 1.3/4 side at 1/2″ & 3/4″

2 pieces of 1.1/4 x 2.5/8 card for the sides

Score along the short side at 1/4″, 5/8″, 1″

2 pieces of  5.7/8 x 2.1/2 to decorate the front and back, my papers are from Poundland in the UK and were in shops as of the 29/03/2018, unfortunately, they do not have an online shop so you need to purchase the paper packs in the store.

1 piece of 5.3/4 x 2.5/8 card to hold the gift tag, I also show another piece of card to mat on top of this but I actually think you are better just using this one piece and putting your gift card directly onto this piece.

A flower punch, I used 17 flowers which measure approximately 1″ in diameter.

The blue tools I showed you are on eBay.

I used clear velcro dot by the brand Velcro also on eBay.

Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.

I love cute little things and really enjoyed making these, I will probably just end up keeping these and never gifting them!
