Easy Easel Card

Hi everyone, today I’m sharing these Easy Easel cards.

Easy Easel Cards

As I mention in my YouTube tutorial Easel cards are great cards if you are new to card making and want to venture into “Fun Fold Cards” as these are so easy to make and by adding just one scoreline to a pre-made card base your card completely transforms.

I used supplies from my June Hobbybase monthly kit. The months “Bee Happy” themed box was crammed with fun stuff, check out my unboxing video below.

The cute bee die and paper flowers really add a pretty touch to the cards.

To make these cards you will need…

1 piece of 10″ x 7″  card or a pre-made 5″ x 7″ card.

Score along the 10″ side at 2.1/2 & 5″ or if you’re using a pre-made card you just need to score at 2.1/2 along the 10″ side.

1 piece of 6.3/4 x 4.1/2 card to mat on the bottom of the card.

1 piece of 6.1/2 x 4.3/4 card to layer on top.

2 pieces of 2.1/4 x 6.3/4 card to decorate the front 2 panels of your card.

1 piece of 5″ x 4″ card for your topper.

1 piece of 4.3/4 x 3.3/4 card to layer on top.

1 piece of 4.1/2 x 3.1/2 pattern paper to layer again on top.

Sentiments and embellishments to decorate.

I used a pre-made envelope but if you’re using your envelope punch board you need to follow the 5 x 7 card size and will need a piece of 9.1/2 x 9.1/2 scoring at 4″ for your first score line.

Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.
