Twist & Fold Card

I think this card is awesome, such a quick simple process to achieve this great look.

I stumbled across this card on YouTube by Patsy Waggoner and you can find her tutorial here.

I love the unique shape and pocket detail.

I used the papers and flowers from my June Hobbybase kit “Bee Happy”

This card has such a cool profile when opened, as you can see I had made a tag for one of the cards or you could use the pocket to hold a gift card or mini gift.

To make this card you will need…

1 pieces of 6″ x 12″ cardstock for your main card base.

Score from the bottom left corner across to the top right corner.

Mark with a pencil at 4.1/2 along the top 12″ side coming in from the left and then mark again at 4.1/2 along the bottom 12″ side coming in from the right.

2 pieces of 5″ x 6.1/8 pattern paper for the large front and inside sections.

1 piece of 3″ x 6″ plain coloured card to mat on the front of your triangle pockets.

1 or 2 pieces 2.3/4 x 5.3/4 of patterned paper, if it’s directional paper you will need 2 pieces.

1 piece of 10.1/8 x 10.1/8 paper for your envelope. Follow the 5.1/2 x 7″ (A7) card size on your envelope punch board.

Anything you want to decorate, as mentioned earlier my supplies are from the June Hobbybase kit. If you would like to find out more about joining the club and receiving monthly kits please visit www.hobbybase.club

Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.

I loved the grey and light green tones of this card.

The “Friends” wood veneer is from my own stash and I wanted to show you how to heat emboss them in any colour you want, this is a great way of matching them to your projects.
