Sweetie Boxes / Party Favours

Hi everyone, to kick-start this new week I have these adorable Sweetie boxes with self-closing sides to share with you all.

Made from just 1 sheet of 6 x 6 card these little favours have enough room for a couple of chocolates.

To make these you will need…

1 piece of 6 x 6 card. Score along one side at 1/2″, 1.3/8, 4.5/8 and 5.1/2

Score along the other side at 1.3/8, 2.3/4, 4.1/8 & 5.1/2 but only between the second and third score lines, just as my template shows below.

Keeping your card in this orientation you need to score at every 1/8″ scoreline just down to the first scoreline, this is purely decorative to give your boxes that sweet wrapper look. Then flip the card and so the same along the opposite side.

4 pieces of 1.1/8 x 3″ pattern paper to decorate your 4 sides.

I also made a larger version with one sheet of 12 x 12 which you can see in my YouTube video. To make this one you need to score at 1″, 2.7/8, 9.1/8 & 11″ then score along the other side at 2.7/8, 5.3/4, 8.5/8 only between the 2md and 3rd scoreline, then score at 11.1/2 all the way down. You will then need to score at every 1/8″ all along the top just down to the first score line and then flip the card and do the same at the opposite end.
