It’s back again!!!
If any of you missed the Impossible Card craze about 5 months ago don’t worry because today I’m sharing the genius Invisible Impossible card.
I didn’t realise that Trimcraft actually made this design 3 months ago, but I’m glad I found it because it’s awesome, and personally, I think this is how it should always be made.
By simply changing the base to acetate instead of cardstock, it not only gives the look that it’s floating or invisible but it gives the card the strength it needs to stay upright all the time.
It’s hard to see in the pictures but the base is the acetate and the green paper is stuck on top.
The normal Impossible Card pictured in the video below is still brilliant and has been extremely popular, but if your like me and keep all those special cards, for longevities sake this card should be made using acetate.
Today’s card is 6″ x 4.1/2″ and the other one I made is 5″ x 7″ so 2 sizes to choose from.
I’ve used AGAIN the awesome Helz Cuppleditch “Beach Life” papers with a decoupage topper. All available from Amazon.
To make this card you will need…
First, it’s best to make a template from cardstock, that way then you can lie this under your acetate and cut it much easier.
Cut your cardstock to 6″ x 4.1/2 and mark it as shown in my template below.
2 pieces of 2.7/8 x 4.1/4 pattern paper for your base mat.
2 pieces of 2.5/8 x 4″ pattern paper to layer on top.
1 piece of 2.1/2 x 3.1/2 white card for your pop up/flap piece.
2 pieces of 2.1/4 x 3.1/4 pattern paper to layer over both sides of your white card.
1 piece of 3″ x 2″ white card for the back of your card and your sentiment.
