Huge 12 x 12 Gift Bag

Hey everyone, yesterday I shared my very large shop bought style 12 x 12 gift bag.

I needed a very large gift bag and really hate buying them when I know I can make them. I had these beautiful “Love” designs in my Craft Smith “Serenity” paper pack. It’s an old pack from 2016 which I found on sale.

I have no need to frame these images and you can’t really use it for scrapbooking so they were perfect for my large gift bags.

These bags are just like the ones you would buy in a store and fold flat making them perfect for making now and storing away for when you need them. These will be great for those larger Christmas gifts.

To make these gifts bags you will need…

2 pieces of 12 x 12 paper for your front and back, on the back piece only you need to score at 3″, these will be the bottom of your back piece, so you need to make sure the direction of your print is facing the right way.

2 pieces ofhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ra0rWLdSkyc 8″ x 12″ for the sides of your bag. Score along the 8″ side at 1″ & 7″ then score along the 12″ side at 3″, then rotate back and score at 4″ just down to the 3″ score line.

1 piece of 8″ x 12″ for your base, score along the 8″ side at 1″ & 7″

I always recycle my handles from my shopping bags and used them on these gift bags, however, ribbon will work just fine.
