On Monday I shared this tutorial, I’ve wanted to make my own clock for a while but just kept forgetting. I finally reminded myself when I saw my local pound shop selling clocks. I thought I would take one apart and use the mechanism from that one to make my own.
This is a very inexpensive way to do this however you can also buy clock kits where you get the mechanism and a chipboard background in many shapes and sizes.
I’ve shared a few links below for you to check out.
I went bright and crazy on the decoration, I love these Fiesta Fever papers from First Edition, available from The Range.
I plan on changing my clock face every few months, for different celebrations and seasons.
The dies used are the matching First Edition “Mexican Fiesta” set available from Hobbybase.
For the numbers, I used the First Edition “Number & Date” dies available from Hobbycraft.
I won’t give the measurements I used in this post as you can make this any size and shape you want, however, if you do want to know then check out my full tutorial below.
It keeps good time and is now hanging up in my newly organized craft room.
Thank you for popping by.
