Hey everyone, I don’t usually post a tutorial on a Saturday but I won’t be posting on Christmas Eve (Monday) or Boxing Day Wednesday)
I’ve been working on this Inside Out card and I’m really pleased with how it turned out.
I’m always looking for new folds and think this one makes a real statement!
I think what really makes this card and makes it a great “New Years” card is the Dovecraft Holographic cardstock available from Amazon.
The rainbow colours this card reflects is really beautiful and lots of fun.
I used my First Edition Number Dies from Amazon, Simply Creative Balloon & Champagne and Glass dies also from Amazon and my First Edition Alphabet Dies again from Amazon.
The beautiful papers used are from the First Edition Mariposa pack, again available from Amazon.
To make these you will need…
1 piece of 10″ x 7″ cardstock for your card base. Score along the 10″ side at 5″ and then flip the card over and score again at 5″ so that you have scored the same line on both sides. These will weaken the fibres in the cardstock and allow the card to fold both ways without cracking.
1 piece of 6″ x 6.3/4 cardstock for your inside pop up mechanism. Score along the 6″ side at 1/2″, 3″ & 5.1/2″. Then fold the card in half along the 3″ score line. Place your cardstock back in your scoreboard still folded in half and with the folded side running along the top and score at 1.1/2, 1.3/4, 3.1/4, 3.1/2, 5″ & 5.1/4
1 piece of 4.3/4 x 6.3/4 pattern paper for the very front of the card.
2 pieces of 4.3/8 x 6.3/4 mirrored cardstock for the two inside sides.
2 pieces of 4.1/8 x 6.1/2 pattern paper to layer on top of the two inside sides.
4 pieces of 1.1/2 x 2.3/8 of mirrored cardstock.
4 pieces of 1.1/8 x 2.1/8 of coloured cardstock to layer on the mirrored cardstock.
2 strips of 3/8″ x 6.3/4 mirrored cardstock.
Letters, numbers and embellishments to decorate.

As always the card folds completely flat and is easy to post.
I know I’ve said it before, but just look at that colour from the mirrored cardstock.
