Hi everyone, today I’m sharing project number 2 of this year’s Valentine Series 2019!
I wanted to decorate up some chocolate bars so decided to make these draws with a fun “pop-up” feature.
This is a fun and inexpensive way to give a little gift this Valentines Day.
The papers are the free downloads available from The Craft Blog.
To make these you will need…
1 piece of 8.1/4 x 7.3/8 cardstock for the outer case.
Score along the 8.1/4 side at 1/2″, then pull your cardstock out very slightly or use the piece of card like I show you in my tutorial and score at 1.1/8, then push your cardstock back and score at 4.3/8, the pull the card out very slightly again and score at 5″
1 piece of 4.1/4 x 8.1/4 cardstock for the tray.
Score on all 4 sides at 1/2″
The cardstock I used is the 300gsm smooth white card from Papermill Direct.
1 piece of 3″ x 7.1/8 pattern paper to decorate the top of the case.
1 piece of acetate, the size is up to you, I used 3/4″ x 6″
Embellishments to decorate, I fussy cut some of the cutouts from the free papers.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.
It’s a nice surprise for the receiver, as they will look at it thinking its just a nice gift box and then find the fun pop-up when they open it!
I hope you enjoyed project number 2 and give it a go.
Happy crafting
Sam
