Cascade Fold Card

Hi everyone, today I have these fun Cascade Cards to share.

Cascade Card

I really enjoyed creating these bold & bright cards.

I was inspired to make these cards by issue 16 of Make Special Cards Magazine.

Available from Buy Subscriptions as well as WH Smith & Sainsburys.

Make Special Cards Magazine

This magazine is full of lovely papers, die cuts and stamp set as well as tons of inspiration.

It made making these cards very easy.

The ones I’ve made are 5″ x 7″ and fold completely flat.

There is also plenty of room on the back to stamp and write your message.

To make these cards you will need…

2 pieces of 10″ x 7″ coloured cardstock for your main base.

Score along the 10″ side at 2.1/2 & 7.1/2, then flip the card and score at 5″. By flipping the cardstock it will stop any cracking when folding. To this on both pieces.

2 pieces of 2.1/4 x 6.3/4 cardstock for your larger mats.

Mark with a pencil and cut at 5.5/8.

2 pieces of 2″ x 6.1/4 pattern paper to layer on top.
