Hi everyone, so we’re over halfway through this year’s Mothers Day Series and I’ve really been enjoying what you have been making and your twist on the projects I have been sharing.
Today I have these pretty Inside Pop Up Cards to share.
I loved making this card because I got to make it with my mum and she made today’s tutorial with me.
The inspiration for this card has come from a card my great nanny sent to my nanny! This card is actually between 60-70 years old and not 50-60 as I said in the video as it was given before my nanny was married.
My mum is a paper crafter and taught me many fun things over the years. She loved helping me today and I love her card and how she puts everything together. We had a real laugh!
The papers I used today were from the Mariposa and Gardenia First Edition paper packs.

The Dovecraft paper flowers I use are from The Range. At the moment I can only see this company selling them online.
To make these cards you will need…
1 piece of 7″ x 10″ coloured cardstock for your base card or a premade 5″ x 7″ card.
1 piece of 9.3/4 x 6.3/4 white card for the inside pop-up mechanism.
Score along the 9.3/4 side at 2.1/8 & 6.3/8 then flip the card stock over and score at 3.5/8

1 piece of 4.3/4 x 6.3/4 white paper to mat the front of your card.
1 piece of 4.1/2 x 6.1/2 pattern paper to layer on the front of your card.
Flower dies, stamps and embellishments to decorate.

There is so much scope we this card and many ways to decorate it.
I love the aperture window and different levels to the card.
I kept the front of the card pretty simple as the intention is the recipient will display the card open.
This card measures 5″x 7″ and folds flat fitting perfectly in an envelope for posting.
