Pretty Tea-cup & Saucer

Hello everyone, and thank you for stopping by. Today I have project number 5 for this year’s Mothers Day Series 2019.

Here is my pretty Tea-cup & Saucer.

I have been wanting to make a pretty feminine one for a long time and after some playing around I came up with this and love it!

These make such a lovely Mothers Day gifts and can be filled with anything to like.

How cute would they be for a little girls tea party and given as party favors?

I love the butterfly detail and flowers decorate around the saucer.

To make these you will need…

I use the Xcut Circle Cutter to make my circles but you can use a dinner plate and smaller plate to make these. You will need something around 11.1/2 diameter and 6.1/2 diameter to get a similar size cup to me.

If you have the Circle Cutter set it to 11.1/2 and cut your first circle, don’t move the cutter but adjust the dial to 6.1/2 and cut another circle again so you have created a ring.

For the saucer, you will need to cut a 4″ diameter circle. You can use decorative dies to make this.

1 piece of 1/2″ x 7″ pattern paper for your handle.

The papers I used were from the Sweet Garden Roses paper pack from The Works.

Flowers, die cuts and embellishments to decorate.
