The Ultimate Valentines Card Vol2!

Hi everyone, I recently shared this fun Pop Up Card.

I’ve decorated this for Valentine’s day, however, you can use this for many occasions, as you don’t need to cut the heart shape.

I have made this fold before and turned it into a large Squash card, which is a great style for a milestone birthday or to use in a mini album.

This card evolved during a Facebook Live Craft-along and I ended up adding a hidden pop-up section along with other elements, that’s also why I ended up calling it The Ultimate Valentines Card Vol 2 as I made The Ultimate Valentines Card a few years ago.

The hidden pop-up element in this card is the perfect place for a secret message.

SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THIS CARD

Chunky Alphabet Letters available here.​

Lip’s stamp here.​

Krafty Panda, Sweet Valentines envelope stamp (SOLD OUT) The paper pad I used is from The Range UK in-store. Double-Sided Glitter card here.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS CARD

1 piece of 6 x 6 card for the pop-up piece.

Score at 3″ on both sides and once on the diagonal.

4 pieces of 5.3/4 x 5.3/4 mirror card and 4 pieces of 5.1/2 x 5.1/2 pattern paper to layer the 4 sides of the main card.

2 pieces of 2.3/4 x 5.1/2 for the mini cards.

Score along the long side at 2.7/8

3 pieces of 2.1/2 x 2.1/2 pattern or plain paper to mat the insides and top of the mini card.

2 pieces of 4″ x 1/2″ card for the mini pop-up element.

Score along the 4″ side at 1″, 2″ & 3″

2 pieces of 1.1/2 x 1.1/2 card to stick on top of the pop-up.

The card is held together with a belly band, however, you can pop it into one of my box envelopes if you prefer.
