Hi everyone. today I’m sharing another Cascading Gatefold Card, this time in a 6 x 6 size.
This is one of my favourite card styles to date, I think it’s really striking and unexpected when you take it out the envelope.
I made a 5 x 7 version a couple months ago and it’s been really popular so I thought I would share another size.

You have space on the back to stamp and write your message.
The card is secured with a belly band.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS CARD
1 piece of 9.1/2 x 6′ card for the main gatefold.
Score along the 9.1/2 side at 3′, 3.1/4 & 9.1/4
1 piece of 3.1/4 x 6′ card for the main gatefold.
Score along the 3.1/4 side at 1/4′
2 pieces of card 12′ x 6′ card for the cascade pieces.
Score both pieces along the 12′ side at 1/2′, 3.3/8, 6.1/4 & 9.1/8
6 pieces of 2.3/4 x 5.3/4 pattern paper for the front and inside gatefold panels and the back panels.
2 pieces of 2.5/8 x 5.3/4 embossed paper for the tallest cascade mat layer
2 pieces of 2.5/8 x 4.5/8 pattern paper for the next size down.
2 pieces of 2.5/8 x 3.3/4 embossed paper for the 2nd to smallest cascade panels.
2 pieces of 2.5/8 x 2.5/8 pattern paper for the front cascade panels.
1 piece of 5.3/4 x 5.3/4 plain paper for the back.
1 piece of 1′ x 12′ card for the belly band.
