Hey friends, I always love to revisit old tutorials and look at ways to change them again. This time I looked back at my Napkin Fold gift box and thought I would use that fold on a card.
I added a few more fold and came up with this unusual card.
These are loaded pockets, perfect to hold gift cards, small gifts and photos. These would also be great in mini albums.
I’ve added 3 tags but you can easily add more, and you can also make this card any size you like, as long as it’s a equal sided square, you’re good to go.
I originally made this birthday version, but I think I prefer this style card in the Christmas version.
You could have a number of the birthday on the front, along with a gift card and message.
SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THESE CARDS
12 x 12 Dovecraft paper pad, this is what I use for my DIY envelopes available here.
WRMK Big Bite hole punch and eyelet setter available here.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE CARDS
1 piece of 12 x 12 paper to make the main Napkin Fold.
1 piece of 12′ x 6′ card for your card blank.
Score along the 12′ side at 6′
1 piece of 3.1/4 x 5.1/4 card and 2 pieces of 2.1/2 x 4.1/4 card for the tags.
1 piece of 3′ x 3.3/4 pattern paper and 2 pieces of 2.1/4 x 4′ pattern paper to cover the tags.
2 pieces of 2.1/2 x 2.1/2 mirrored card and 2 pieces of 2.1/8 x 2.1/8 pattern paper to cover the larger triangle flaps.
1 piece of 5.4/5 x 5.3/4 pattern paper to cover the front of the 6 x 6 card base.
2 pieces of 1.1/8 x 1.1/8 mirrored card and 2 pieces of 7/8′ x 7/8′ pattern paper to cover the smaller triangles.
1 piece of 5.3/4 x 2.3/4 mirrored card and 1 piece of 5.1/2 x 2.1/2 pattern paper to cover the back rectangle panel.
1 piece of 5.3/4 x 2.3/4 pattern paper for the large triangle on the back.
1 piece of 4′ x 1′ card for the stopper.
Score along the 4′ side at 1′, 2′ & 3′
