MIXED UP CRAFT

Double Twisted Easel Cards

Hello friends, today I’m sharing this colourful Double Twisted Easel Card I made for one of my bestie’s recently.

I wanted a card style to show off these lovely images and thought this Double Easel Style worked well.

I’ve made Twisted Easel cards before and a Triple Easel card, but never a double!

If you would like to see how I made a Triple version click here & here for the twisted version.

This card folds down to a 8′ x 6′ (C7) size and you can make an envelope to fit it here.

You can write your message inside the card or on the very back.

I used my coloured pencils to colour the images and have made a separate tutorial here if you would like to see how I did this.

SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THIS CARD

Daisy Mae Designs ‘At The Salon’ stamp set available here.

Made To Surprise paper pad available here.

My Pink & Purple Scoreboard by Hunkydory available here.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS CARD

1 piece of 12′ x 8′ card for the easel part.

Score along the 12′ side at 6′ and score along the 8′ side at 1′, 3′, 5′ & 7′ all down to the first scoreline only. Then score back along the 12′ side at 9′ on both panels that you’ve cut away.

1 piece of 5.3/4 x 7.3/4 and 5.1/2 x 7.1/2 to mat and layer the base.

2 pieces of 4′ x 6′ for the panels.

2 pieces of 3.3/4 x 5.3/4 and 3.1/2 x 5.1/2 to mat and layer each panel.

Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made it.

Happy crafting
