MIXED UP CRAFT

Fun & Easy Kinetic Flip Flap Cards

Hi friends, last week I made these lovely interactive Christmas cards.

These Flip Flap cards are easy to make and fun for all ages, they also hold a gift card perfectly!

These Raymond Briggs, The Snowman & The Father Christmas stamps are some of my favourites.

This is a 5 x 7 size with room to write your message inside.

It will fit nicely into one of my bouncy envelopes here or one of my box envelopes here.

SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THESE CARDS

Distress Oxide ink pads are available here.

Holographic cardstock is available here.

300gsm white card available here.

Foam strips are available here.

I can’t find any of the Raymond Briggs stamp sets online.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE CARDS

1 piece of 10′ x 7′ white card for the card base.

Score along the 10′ side at 5′ or use a pre-made card base.

1 piece of 4.3/4 x 6.3/4 pattern or plain paper to mat the front of the card base.

1 piece of 9.1/2 x 4′ card for the pull-out panel.

Score along the 9.1/2 side at 4.1/2

1 piece of 3′ x 2′ card for the roller mechanism.

Score along the 3′ side at 1/2′ & 2.1/2 and then every scoreline in-between.

1 piece of 9.3/4 x 5.1/2 card for the case

Score along the 9.3/4 side at 1/2′, 5/8′, 5.1/8 & 5.1/4

If you don’t make the case version then you will need 1 piece of 4.1/2 x 5.1/2 card.

1 piece of 3.7/8 x 1.1/2 card to act as the ramp.

1 piece of 5.1/4 x 4.1/4 & 1 piece of 5′ x 4′ to mat and layer the front of the card.

1 piece of 4.3/4 x 3.3/4 & 1 piece of 4′ x 3′ paper to mat & layer the inside pull panel.

Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made both versions.
