Hey I’m back again and today I have these fun Toothpaste Tube Shaped Gift Bags.
I was looking back at my old tutorials and saw my Large Gift Pouch video and thought it would look nice with a circular base rather then a square.
Check out the Tutorial for this style below.
By simply changing the base you get a very different look, one that I thought resembled a Toothpaste Tube.
To make these you will need…
1 piece of 12 x 12 paper, I used the Mermaid Coast paper pack by Craft Smith, as I mentioned in the video this is an American company and only stocked at Micheal’s, I’ve found it on Amazon in the link above but its again from America, I cant find any available in the UK, sorry, I will keep looking though.
You need your bottom side of the 12 x 12 paper along the left hand side of your score board and score at 1.1/2, then rotate that side so its now running along the top of your score board and score at every 1/2″ but only up to that score line you just scored.
Circle die measuring approximately 3.1/2, you will need to die cut 2 circles.
Clip to fasten or you can hole punch the top and use ribbon to tie it closed.
Sentiment of your choice.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.
As always I hope you like this unusual gift bag and give it a go. Remember to share any of your makes on my Mixed Up Craft Facebook page or use the Hashtag #mixedupcraft so I can find your makes that way.
Happy crafting
Sam
