Hi everyone, today I’m sharing these fun Inner Pop-Up Cards using the Dovecraft Secret Garden collection & First Editon Chasing Rainbows papers.
I made the card below during my Hobbybase live on Facebook a couple weeks ago.
I was inspired by a similar card I saw on Pinterest by, hers had stars popping up and I thought it was a really fun card style.
I wanted to create a pretty scene and new the Secret Garden collection would be perfect!
Below is the front of the card.
I just love all of the elements and that wooden bird!
You can find the Secret Garden collection over on my Amazin Storefront here.
Or from Craft Stash here.
I used the Dovecraft distressing tool to distress the edges of the paper and card, you can find it here.
To make these cards you will need…
2 pieces of 5.1/2 x 7″ cardstock or 2 pre-made 5″ x 7″ card blanks.
3 pieces of 4.3/4 x 6.3/4 silver card to mat the front and insides of the card.
3 pieces of 4.1/2 x 6.1/2 pattern paper to layer over all of the mats.
Strong acetate and lots of things to decorate the card.
The silver cardstock I used is by Dovecraft and available here.
The ‘Birthday Wishes’ stamp is by Woodware and available here.
The ‘Vegetable’ scissors I use are available from Amazon here.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.
I’m so pleased with how this worked out, but not surprised, because so far this collection has been a joy to create with and so easy too.
Below you will find my She Shed Storage Box & Floating Pop-Up Card I’ve made using the same collection.
I love the illustrations and the cute little wooden fences.
Thank you for stopping by today and for supporting my channel and blog.
I hope you give this card a go.
Happy crafting.
Sam
