Hi everyone, for my 5th card for this year’s Creative Card Series I have these very cute Spinner cards.
I’m totally in love with these cute images and love everything about them.
These lovely papers are from The Magical Forest 8″ x 8″ kit by The Paper Boutique.
Available from Craft Stash here.
The stamp set I used it the Dovecraft Essentials ‘General’ stamp set available from Amazon here.
The glitter ribbon I used, was from B&M and in a pack of 8, I believe.
This is an easy card to make but it has such a great effect.
It opens just like a normal card and has lots of room inside to write your message.
To make these cards you will need…
1 piece of 8″ x 6″. Score along the 8″ side at 4″ and fold in half.
1 piece of 3.3/4 x 5.3/4 pattern paper to decorate the front.
I used a 3.1/2″ diameter circle. You can use whatever shape & size you want
Strong thread to attach the spinning element.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.
I last made a Spinner card over 2 years ago and you can watch my earlier tutorial below.
The little fox image is my favourite and I’m glad I still have more of the toppers to use.
I would love to know what you think of these cards, and if you so make any, please share them on my Facebook group Mixed Up Crafters here.
Thank you for stopping by.
Happy crafting.
Sam
xoxo
