Back again, I’ve never done so many blog posts back to back, but I hope you are enjoying them all?
Today I have this Dragonfly Pop Up Card to show you all.
I had fun creating this one and using the Paper Addicts, Paradise Bliss papers.
These papers are available from Amazon here.
The papers are beautiful, I love this one I’ve used on the front.
I used my vegetable scissors to cut the grass effect.
You can pick these up from Amazon here.
I used the Bright Rosa ‘Birthday Words’ dies for the ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment.
This is available from Craft Stash here.
I fussy cut the Dragonflies and wrapped some ribbon around to decorate the front.
You can write your message inside but I prefer to have my message on the back.
To make this card you will need…
1 piece of 6″ x 12″ coloured card for the card blank.
Score along the 12″ side at 6″
1 piece of 5.3/4 x 11.1/2 white card for the inside.
Score along the 11.1/2 side at 5.3/4.
1 piece of 5″ x 4″ white card for the pop up feature.
Score along the 4″ side at 1/2″, 1.1/2, 2.1/2 & 3.1/2
2 pieces of 5.3/4 x 5.3/4 white card to mat the front and back of the card.
2 piece of 5.1/2 x 5.1/2 patterned paper to layer onto the front and back.
1 piece of 5.1/4 x 5.1/4 white paper for the very back to stamp and write your message.
For the grass effect, you need 2 pieces of 5.3/4 x 3″ and 1 piece of 5″ x 3″
Die cuts or stamped images to decorate the card.
Check out my full tutorial below.
You can make this card any size you like.
I’ve made many different pop-up cards some harder than others and I’ve listed the playlist below.
Thank you for popping by again.
Happy crafting
