Hey friends, during one of my Facebook Lives this week I showed you how to make these sweet Kite Fold cards.
These are very straightforward make and will fit onto lots of different sized card blanks.
During the live Craft Along someone mentioned about using them as a gift card holder, so I played around with the sizes and came up with this one.
I love this 5″ x 7″ size and it fits a gift card inside perfectly.
The smaller ones are very cute and you have plenty of room inside to stamp and write your message.
This one is attached to a 5″ x 7″ card blank.
I also made this 6 x 6 version, which looks great too.
SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THESE
Paper Posies papers for the 6 x 6 version available here.
Daisy Mae papers available here.
The cloud design embossing folder I used is quite old and I’m unable to find it online.
MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE
1 piece of 11″ x 4″ card for the smaller version
1 piece of 5″ x 7″ & 1 piece of 5″ x 7.1/2 for the larger version
I’ve attached templates below for the 2 sizes, for the smaller one, I tell you in the video to score along the 11″ side at 5″ but I do actually score at 5.1.2 and you can see in the video that the card is 11″ long. I stupidly wrote 5″ on my template, hench, why I said it. I have amended the template so please follow that.
Below is the template for the larger one and the gift card holder version.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them all.
Heres the larger green one I made in the tutorial.
I’ve really enjoyed creating these and I hope you like them too.
