I designed this fun Hexagon Pop-Up card with a hidden spring recently.
This easy card style requires no specialty dies and is very easy to make.
This folds down to a 6 x 6 size and will fit into one of my box envelopes here, or in a bouncy envelope here.
You have space on the back to write your message.
I’ve also made a 5 x 7 version here, and a 5 x 7 open-top style here.
MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE CARDS
2 pieces of 2′ x 6.1/2 card for the front and back.
Score along the 6.1/2 side at 2′, 4′ & 6′
3 pieces of 1.3/4 x 1.3/4 pattern paper to cover the sides.
1 piece of 2′ x 8′ card for the top.
Score along the 8′ side at 2′, 4′ & 6′
1 piece of 1.1/2 x 9.1/2 card for the spring.
Score along the 9.1/2 side at 1/2′, 1.1/4, 2′, 2.3/4, 3.1/2, 5′, 5.3/4, 6.1/2, 7.1/4 & 8′
1 piece of 4′ x 4′ card & then 3.3/4 x 3.3/4 & 3.1/2 x 3.1/2 card & pattern paper for the topper.
The circle topper is 5.1/4 in diameter.
