Handbag Style Faceted Gift Bag

Hi everyone, I’m starting off the week with this pretty Faceted Gift Bag.

Similar to lots of my other gift bags, but with some easy and clever scoring on the side panels you can create a completely different look.

I was inspired by these gift bags I made last year.

Check out the video for these gift bags below.

I like all the detail on this gift bag, the metal corner protectors are from Amazon, the handles are recycled from my shopping bags but you can use ribbon or cardstock.

The beautiful large butterfly is from the Bright Rosa Butterfly Band die set available here.

The butterfly really sets it off.

The papers I used are from the Paper Addicts Retro Daze pack. This is available from Amazon here.

To make these gift bags you will need…

2 pieces of 12″ x 10″ patterned paper for the front and back.

Score along the 12″ side score at 3″

2 pieces of 4″ x 12″ patterned paper for the sides.

Score along the 12″ side at 9″

Score along the 4″ side at 1/2″ & 3.1/2

1 piece of 6.1/2 x 10″ cardstock for the lid.

Score along the 6.1/2 side at 2″

2 circles cut from a 1″ punch for the handles. (Optional)

I used my Xcut Screw Punch to make the holes for my handles.

Available from Amazon here.

Check out my full tutorial below.

This bag measures 3″ x 10″ so you have plenty of room inside.

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a great week

Sam
