So on my last post, I said that the Pop Up Card was the best thing I have made, well I’ve changed my mind it’s now these beautiful Bottle Collars.
Continuing with my Mothers Day Series, I was lying in bed thinking of other ideas when I thought about doing this. I looked on Pinterest and YouTube and couldn’t find anything like these so decided to go for it and give it a go.
You will need…
Pastel coloured card stock, mine was from Docrafts 12×12 pack Shop
Stampin Up ‘Succulent’ Framelits Shop
Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Iced Spruce, Pumice Stone, Milled Lavender & Tattered Rose Shop
Small Sizzix square die for sentiment Shop
Stampin Up ‘Nice Cuppa’ stamp set (Retired)
Blending tools.
Decorative adhesive dots for the centre of flowers.
Card measuring 1.1/2 x 12 for the Collar.
Check out my full tutorial below.
I had a total of 13 flowers on my collar.
I cut x2 Large & x3 Small flowers from the main succulent dies and then build them up with each smaller flower stacking on top and then
x3 Large, x3 Medium & x2 Small from the petal dies again building them up with each smaller flower again.
These are very time consuming and patience is needed but it’s so worth it.
I’m going to do a wedding themed one next.
Please share any of your designs with me as I would love to see what you come up with.
Thanks for popping by
Sam
