As children me and my sister Tracie during every school holiday had to make a scrapbook telling the stories of all the things we have done. We would collect, tickets, cards, flyers and add photos with a paragraph detailing what we got up to that day or week. I remember really enjoying this and now with some of them over 25 years old its lovely to look back on and reminisce.
I’ve recently started to get back into this again and the other day I made my own scrapbook and added a lot of photos of me and my husband Neil on some of our adventures.
I wanted something easy to start with so I put together this plain 10-page book.
To make this you will need…
12 pieces of strong white card 7 x 4.3/4
Score along every piece along the 4.3/4 side at 4.1/2
1 piece of strong card, my brown card is 280 GSM 7 x 9.7/8
Score along 9.7/8 side at 4.1/2, 4.3/4, 5.1/8 & 5.3/8.
Ribbon and decoration of your choice for the front. I used the beautiful watercolour papers from Cosmo Cricket

These are great gifts, you can scrapbook about a Hen Party and give it to the Bride to Be or about a big birthday celebration the ideas are limitless.
Saving memories is a wonderful thing and in the digital world we live in now I think this gets forgotten and people don’t sit down and look at photo albums anymore…well not in my household!
Happy Scrapbooking friends.
