Now I know we are already halfway into the year but I just had to make this.
I was sorting out a box I had still put off since moving to China and inside was our Perpetual Calendar from last year. We had purchased it from one of my favourite shops Muji. It was nothing like the one I’ve made but it did flip over and inspired me.
The great thing about this is there is no year on it so I can use it year after year until I’m bored and want to make another one, I’ve also made it so it folds flat, making it great to give to someone as a gift….(oh! and it’s dead easy to make.)
For this great project, you will need…
11.5/8 X 8.1/4 Black card
Score along the 8.1/4 side at 4 & 8
4.1/4 x 11.5/8 Black card
Score along the 4.1/4 side at 2 & 4
3.5/8 x 11.1/4 Pink card
Die-cut 26 2.5/8 x 2.5/8 black squares
Die-cut 26 2.1/4 x 2.1/4 white squares
4 metal rings 7/8 in diameter, I purchased mine from Walmart for just over $1
My number stamps are Docrafts Carnival stamps
I coloured them in with my Winsor & Newton pens Cerise & Lime green.
Check out my video below for the full tutorial.
This is now sitting proudly on my shelf and used every single day.
I hope you enjoyed this one, and remember to share your versions on my Mixed Up Craft Facebook page.
Happy crafting

Hi Sarah, I’m sorry but I don’t have the time to write step by step instructions which is why I just write down the measurements needed and attach the video. If you just watch it once and prep your measurements as I’ve listed then you will be good to go. Regards Sam.
I need the instructions in writing…so I can make this calendar without having to watch the video.
