I have had these beautiful papers for a little while now. They were all in a book just full of these beautiful illustrations.
There were hundreds of these books and they are made in their thousands but were just getting ruined in this book shop. Selling for cheap I purchased 3 and decided to give them a new lease of life.
You don’t always need to buy expensive craft papers to create great projects, check out the reduced books at your supermarket or landscape and flower books at your local charity/thrift shops.
To make these easy and quick pouches you will need…
8.3/4 x 9.1/2 patterned paper
Along the 8.3/4 side score at 3/8′
4 x 4 card for your base
Score at 1′ on all 4 sides.
Ribbon of your choice.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how its made.
I’m guessing that the weight of these papers is about 120gsm and they have a glossy finish.
So don’t go throwing away any old tatty books, see if you can use the papers and inject some new life into them.
Hope you like this quick project,
Sam
