The first project to kick start my Halloween week are these fun Pumpkin like Trick or Treat boxes.
I had originally made these at Easter thinking they would look like Carrots!!
The Carrot shape was a failure, however, I thought the could resemble some kind of pumpkin quite well.
Those of you who follow me regularly will notice this is a style of mine that I do a lot as there are so many variations with this style
To make these you will need…
2 pieces of 6.1/2 x 8.1/4 Orange card stock
Score along the 8.1/4 side at 1 & 5.1/4
Score along the 6.1/2 side at 1/2 the 1.1/2 just to the first score line, 2.1/2 just to the first score line, 3.1/2 all the way down and 4.1/2 & 5.1/2 to the first score line.
A tag and sentiment of your choice, mine were from a shop in China so I’m unable to share a link.
Hole punch and ribbon approx 8′
Oval shape to score around, I used my Xcut 7 piece Oval & Circle tracks shape cutter system.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I do the other scoring with the Oval circle shape.
These are a good size and would look good set at the table or piled in a basket ready for Trick or Treat.
Hope you liked the first Halloween project from me today, stayed tuned for more Halloween projects every day this week.
