Hi everyone, I’ve been having so much fun with my friends and family that I forgot to do a blog on this project. Slightly late but here you go.
Double Pocket Gift Wallet
These make a really a nice gift, whether it be for a birthday, Mothers/Fathers Day, Valentines Day, Teachers gifts they really work well for many occasions.
I’ve made the pockets a little bigger in the hope that they will work for many sized chocolate bars around the world as I’m aware that not everyone will have the sized chocolate bars I used.
I distressed the one in the pictures using brown ink and rubbed it all over the edges of the kraft card and the patterned paper giving it a nice aged look.
To make these you will need…
1 piece of 7.1/8 x 8.1/4 for the main case. I used my favourite kraft card by Docrafts.
Score along the 7.1/8 side at
2.1/4, 2.5/8, 3″, 5.1/4 & 6″
Score along the 8.1/4 side at
1″, 1.3/8, 6.7/8 & 7.1/4
2 pieces of 2″ x 5.1/2 for the pockets.
Score along the 2″ side at 1/4″ & 5/8″
2 pieces of patterned paper 1.1/8 x 5.1/4 to decorate the pockets.
1 piece of patterned paper 2.1/8 x 5.1/4 to decorate the front.
1 piece of 1″ x 5.1/4 to decorate the flap of the case.
Heart shape die cut and sentiment to decorate the front. My ‘Love’ die is from the Sizzix Tribal Words.
Velcro dots, mine are the brand Velcro from Amazon.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I put it together.
Here is the other version I made in the tutorial.
I received some lovely comments about this project, so thank you, I’m so happy you like it.
Remember to share any of your makes over on my Facebook page, Mixed Up Craft.
Enjoy your day, I’m off craft shopping again with my mum.
