Drop Down Gate Fold Card

Hi everyone, I have another Fun Fold card to share this week.

As you all know I love a Gate Fold card so I decided to have a play around again and made this large Drop Down Gate Fold card.

I’ve used some of the supplies from my May Hobbybase Club Kit

I also love a Belly Band so I had to add one of them, although you could easily put this in a 6 x 6 envelope.

We received these lovely papers in the kit which are the beautiful V&A papers from Trimcraft. We also received the Hobbybase Rose die which is another favourite of mine and reminds me of the Rose in the Beauty & The Beast movie.

To make this you will need…

1 piece of 12 x 12 card stock for your main card base.

Score 3″ & 9″ along one side and then at 6″ along the other.

2 pieces of 5.3/4 x 5.3/4 plain coloured card for your main mats.

2 pieces of 5.1/2 x 5.1/2 pattern paper to layer on top of your mats.

4 pieces of 2.3/4 x 5.3/4 plain coloured card to mat on all four side panels.

4 pieces of 2.1/2 x 5.1/2 to layer on top of your mats.

1 piece of 1.1/2 x 11″, A4 or 12″ for your belly band.

Sentiments, embellishments and dies to decorate.

My large “Someone Special” sentiment is from Dovecraft.

The large faceted gold gemstones were from the April kit and add a nice touch of sparkle to the card.

I love how it all folds up nicely with the belly band or as I mentioned above a 6 x 6 envelope.
