Hi everyone today I’m sharing this fun Z Fold Card
I’ve used supplies from my Hobbybase July kit called “Under The Sea”, you can find out more about joining the Hobbybase club at www.hobbybase.club
I’ve really loved playing around with the Hunkydory “Under The Sea” stamp set from the kit. You can purchase it here.
I used my trusty watercolour pencils again and then covered all of the creatures with glossy accents, just like lasts week card, to give the look of them being underwater. You can purchase it here.
Here’s last weeks card if you missed it.
One thing I was most pleased with was the little treasure chest. I used my VersaMarker and coloured it just over where the treasure was and then sprinkled the “Salsa” WOW embossing powder, once heat set it sparkled so well and gave the look of real treasure.
We also received some lovely shiny sky patterned card, I used this as my background as it also looked like water. I embossed it with the bubble folder we received which gave the card some nice texture.
I thought the Z Fold card work best as I knew I wanted to create a long scene.
To make this card you will need…
1 piece of 12″ x 4″ card, score at 3″ then flip your card over and score at 6″
1 piece of 3.3/4 x 5.3/4 for your main mat.
2 pieces of 2.3/4 x 3.3/4 for your two smaller mats.
The seaweed die cuts are from my own stash along with the “Happy Birthday” sentiment.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made it.
There is plenty of room on the back of the card for your message and the whole card folds flat to a 4″ x 6″ size making it easy to post.
As always I hope you have enjoyed this card today and I have given you inspiration to create your own.
Happy crafting
Sam
