Hi everyone, today I’m sharing project number 3 of my Valentines Series 2019!
These fun Never-Ending or Infinity cards seemed the perfect style for Valentine’s.
I’ve made these before and shared my tutorial over a year ago. In my old tutorial, I showed you how to make an 8″ x 8″ version so this time I thought I would share my 6″ x 6″ version.
I’ve used the same, free downloadable papers from The Craft Blog for the card above, and then the First Edition Forever Free papers for the other.
I love the construction of these cards and the endless ways to decorate them.
To make these cards you will need…
4 pieces of 3″ x 6″ cardstock, I used the 300gsm, smooth cardstock from Papermill Direct.
Score along the 6″ side at 1.1/2 & 4.1/2. Do this on all 4 pieces. Then flip the cardstock and repeat the same scoring, so you have scored on both sides. This will help reduce cracking as you will be folding the cardstock in both directions.
8 pieces of 2.3/4 x 2.3/4 gold mirrored cardstock for your square mats.
8 pieces of 2.1/.2 x 2.1/2 pattern paper to layer on top.
8 pieces of 1.1/4 x 2.3/4 gold mirrored cardstock for your rectangle mats.
8 pieces of 1″ x 2.1/2 pattern paper to layer on top.
I also added gold stripes to 4 of these rectangles which are 3/8″ x 2.1/2
8 pieces of 1.1/4 x 1.1/4 gold mirrored cardstock for your smaller square mats.
8 pieces of 1″ x 1″ pattern paper to layer on top.
Lots of embellishments, die cuts and ribbon to decorate.
Check out my full tutorial below.
You can get the First Edition Forever Free papers I used from Amazon.
The gold Dovrcraft cardstock is also available from Amazon
If you would also like to see my tutorial from last year, I’ve shared it below.
I’ve tried to share all of the different open layouts so you have plenty of inspiration.
I fussy cut the “Happy Valentines Day” from the free downloads.
These empty squares, I plan on adding photos too.
I hope you’re enjoying this year’s Valentine’s Series.
See you tomorrow.
Sam
