Hi everyone, today I’m sharing these pretty Explosion Gift Boxes with a bath bomb inside.
It was the “You’re The Bomb!” tag from the free Trimcraft Valentines, downloadables that gave me the idea to make this gift box.
The bath bomb sits perfectly on a platform in the middle of the exploding gift box.
The Bath Bombs are by “Bomb Cosmetics” available from Amazon.
You could make this as a birthday themed box and have a mini birthday cake in the middle.
These boxes measure, when closed 4″ x 4″ x 4″
You can find the free downloadable papers here. I use 300gsm white smooth card stock in my printer and feed through one sheet at a time, this eliminates any paper jams.
To make these you will need…
1 piece of pink 12″ x 12″ cardstock, I use the Papermania, Capsule Collection 216 cardstock available from Amazon. Score at 4″ along all 4 sides.
1 piece of 8″ x 8″ white cardstock for your lid. Score along the all for sides at 1″ & 2″
1 piece of 5.3/4 x 5.3/4 white cardstock for the platform to hold your bath bomb, this is optional. You will need to score at 1/4″, 1″, 4.3/4 & 5.1/2, then rotate your cardstock and repeat the same score lines.
1 piece of 3.1/2 x 3.1/2 pattern paper for the top of your platform, again this is optional.
8 pieces of 3.3/4 x 3.3/4 white cardstock to mat all of your squares.
8 pieces of 3.1/2 x 3.1/2 mirrored cardstock to layer on top of your 8 mats.
8 pieces of 3.1/4 x 3.1/4 pattern paper to layer on top again.
4 pieces of 3/4″ x 3.3/4 mirrored cardstock to mat the sides of your lid.
4 pieces of 1/2″ x 3.1/2 patterned paper to layer on top of your mats for the sides of your lid.
For the mini greeting card, you will need a piece of 2.1/2 x 5″ white cardstock. Score along the 5″ side at 2.1/2 and fold in half. You will need a 2.1/4 x 2.1.4 piece of pattern paper to mat on top.

The Dovecraft Holographic mirrored cardstock I use is from Amazon.
These make such pretty gifts and can be decorated in so many ways.
