Hi everyone, today I have these large acetate gift bags to show you.
The strong acetate works really well for these gift bags and makes the bags look like a gift in themselves!
I used the simply gorgeous Dovecraft, Fairy Tales collection to make these, you can find the whole collection over on my Amazon Storefront here.
The toppers used are from the pretty decoupage pack.
These gift bags measure 4″ x 8″ which I find to be a great size for most gifts.
I used is the 12″ x 12″ Papermania Acetate by Docrafts. It’s really strong a wonderful to work with.
I’ve found this available on here on Amazon for a good price.
Wrap the gift or fill the bag with tissue paper.
To make this gift bag you will need…
1 piece of 9″ x 12″ acetate.
Score along the 9″ side at 1/2″ & 8.1/2
Score along the 12″ side at 4″
1 piece of 8″ x 12″ acetate.
Score along the 12″ side at 4″
2 pieces of 5″ x 8″ pattern paper for the sides.
Score both pieces along the 5″ side at 1/2″ & 4.1/2
2 pieces of 3/4″ x 11″ or A4 length cardstock for the handles.
2 pieces 7.7/8 x 3.7/8 of plain or pattern card to cover the inside base and underneath.
8 circles to cover the base of the handles. I used my 1.1/2 circle punch.
4 circles to layer over the 4 outer circles. I used my 1″ circle punch.
Ribbon and embellishments to decorate.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.
The decoupage toppers make perfect gift tags.
Once again, thank you for stopping by and enjoying the rest of your day.
Happy crafting.
