Hi everyone, I’m back after a lovely weeks holiday spent with friends and family.
Now feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and have lots of fun tutorials ready to share with you all.
This was hard to photo as there are many sides and compartments to it.
There is a coin purse on one side and card wallet on the other.
The is space for 6 gift cards and money.
I used the First Edition Mariposa & Gardenia papers by Trimcraft.
To make these you will need…
2 pieces of 8″ x 4.1/4 pattern paper.
Score along the 8″ side at 4″
1 piece of 4.1/4 x 2″ pattern paper for the coin purse flap.
Score along the 2″ side at 1/2″
1 piece of 1.3/4 x 4″ pattern paper to mat onto the flap closure.
1 piece of 4″ x 7.7/8 pattern paper to stick inside the wallet side.
When sticking this piece inside let it fold in half naturally when you close the wallet.
2 pieces of 4″ x 3″
2 pieces of 4″ 2.1/2
2 pieces of 4″ x 2″
1 piece of 2.3/4 x 1.1/2 for wallet closure.
Score along the 2.3/4 side at 1/2″
1 piece of 2″ x 1.1/4 pattern paper to mat on top.
1 piece of 1.3/4 x 1″ pattern paper to layer on top.
1 piece of 1″ x 4.1/4 pattern paper to cover the bottom of the purse.
Score along the 1″ side at 1/2″
I used 16mm velcro dots available from my Amazon Store Front here.
Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made it.
I ended up finishing the one I made in the tutorial with the same butterfly die cut and circle dies.
I just love how much you can fit into these.
Perfect for so many occasions and great gifts for men.
I hope you enjoy today project and give it a go.
Have a wonderful week.
Happy crafting.
Sam
The gift card wallet/purse is amazing. Fantastic project to make with great and easy to follow instructions. Your a genius, your mum will be proud. I am just getting into making the cards you have made so hopefully after enough practice I can make the gift card/Wallets as Christmas presents 😂. Keep up the great work
Thank you Allison, I’m sure you will pick up card making quickly and find what style you enjoy making the most. I try and break down all of my tutorials so that all abilities can follow and make with ease. Feel free to join my Mixed Up Crafters FB page if you havent already. There you can see lots of wonderful versions of the tutorials I share by other great crafters. You need to answer a couple questions when joining and then you can be approved. Sam 🙂
These are GORGEOUS, fab design, love them xx
Another great project Sam. I so love all your projects as well as the fancy fold cards you do. I prefer the fancy fold ones myself! You make the instructions easy enough that one can make the project/card the same day. Most times I follow along with your video. Sometimes you give us a chuckle a two!!! Keep up the great work & glad you had a great time on your vacation with family.
Hi Sam, thanks for the offer re the face book page, but I am old school and haven’t got a face book account. 😂 At least I can watch you on You tube, follow you on Pinterest and follow your blog. Keep up the great work and I look forward to the next project
