Box Fold Cards

Floating Pop Box Card

Hi everyone, today I’m excited to share my first project using the VERY new Dovecraft, Secret Garden collection.

Floating Pop Box Card

I wanted a card style that would show off the collection and lots of the matching embellishments, so I did my Floating Pop Box Card from last Christmas.

This is such a fun and easy card and works great with this collection, which is now my favourite Dovecraft collection EVER!

If you have yet to see the full collection, please check out my video below showing the 2 new Dovecraft collections.

You can shop the whole collection here.

This card is 6″ x 6″ and folds completely flat, to fit into an envelope and post.

There is plenty of room on the back to write your message.

To make this card you will need…

2 pieces of 6″ x 6.1/4.

Score both pieces along the 6.1/4 side at 3″ & 6″

If you are not doing the same garden theme as I showed, then you will need 2 pieces of 2.3/4 x 5.3/4 pattern paper to mat the inside back of the card.

2 pieces of 2.3/4 x 5.3/4 white paper to mat the back of the card.

1 piece of 1.1/2 x 5.3/4 acetate for the ‘Pop’ feature.

Any shape die for the window.

Dies, stamps and embellishments to decorate.

Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made it.

Well, I hope you like this new collection as much as I do, you don’t have too long to wait before it hits the stores.
