Hi everyone, today I have these handy Tissue Box Covers to show you.
I have made these before but it was before I started my YouTube channel and my Mum has made many and follows a tutorial by a lady called Elizabeth Shannon.
I was my mum who suggested I make one, so here are my versions.
I made one for my Nan and the other for myself.
The papers used for my Nan’s are from the Dovecraft Secret Garden collection available from Craft Stash here.
These boxes measure 4.3/4 x 4.3/4 and will fit the standard UK square tissues boxes.
The papers used below are from the Dovecraft ‘Happy You’ collection available from Craft Stash.
To make these you will need…
2 pieces of 9.1/4 x 5.1/4 cardstock for the sides of the cover.
Score along the 9.1/4 side at 4.3/8 & 8.3/4
Score along the 5.1/4 side at 4.3/4
4 pieces of 4.1/4 x 4.5/8 pattern paper to decorate the 4 sides.
1 piece of 4.3/4 x 4.3/4 cardstock to the top of the cover.
Oval dies. I used my Tonic Nesting dies. The side I used was 2.3/8 x 1.7/8
Please follow my full tutorial below to see how I made them.
These are very quick and easy to make, and easy to personalise or match any room you like.
I hope you like my designs and give these a go.
Remember to share anything you make, following my tutorials over on my Facebook group Mixed Up Crafters.
Thank you for stopping by.
Happy crafting
Sam

Love this project! Can’t wait to find the perfect paper so I can make one for my bedroom. I’m in the USA so going to check if the measurements fit our boxes.
These are gorgeous Samantha, beautiful makes xx
I love this idea Sam. Gotta make one for the bathroom!!! And, any other room, now that I know I can make one easily enough. TYFS
I wanted to make the tissue cover but realized my tissue box measure 5 inches high and 4 3/8 wide. I think that is a standard size in the US.
I know a few others that have had to resize it outside the UK, it seems different countries have different sizes.
