Using Felt With Your Papercraft

Hi everyone, I think for a lot of us when we hear the word felt we think of creating fun scenes with fuzzy felt or playing with finger puppets…well I know I do anyway!

I recently received my new order from Arteza and one of the products I had chosen was a pack of 30 Adhesive Felt Sheets.

I spent the day last week playing around with it and below are the things I made.

First up is this bright and fun bunting. I had something similar a few years ago, but it was made of paper and didn’t last long. I wanted to make something again that would last forever, or at least a very long time!

Felt Circle Bunting

I used a plain circle die and cut out a variety of colours and stuck them together, running some bakers twine through the middle.

Next, I create this pretty card using the stunning Daisy Mae Designs, Peony Bloom stamp and die set. I die cut the felt using a leaf die I have and nestled them amongst the paper images. I wanted to add some texture to my cards and love how 3D the felt has made this card.

I coloured this card using the wonderful Arteza Everblend Markers available here.

I then made this fun Duplo or Lego themed card, which looks so good in the felt and perfect for kids cards.

I then played around with my other dies and made this easy, personalised tree decoration.

You can also make cute gift tags! I think this will look great for Christmas wrapping.

So, there are just a few fun ways to use felt.

I hope you like my ideas and give them a go.

Happy crafting
