Hi everyone, a couple months ago I received the new First Edition Digital Dies to play with.
There are 11 in the collection each with 40 SVG files and in a variety of categories.
I’ve loved using these and as someone who is still new to the world of digital dies and cutting machines, these have been so easy to use. They are compatible with Cricut, Silhouette & Brother machines.
Check out the full collection here.
I have been making a few products now and plan to share them, along with my usual tutorials each week.
I was so nice to see the one I made professionally photographed and feature on the selling websites!
I first made this house gift bag using the ‘Sentiments’ USB House file.
I cut the SVG file 3 times in silver, pink and yellow cardstock and then I cut 2 more solid images in blue cardstock and paper pieced the different layers.
I added the sides and base along with some ribbon for the handle to great this fun gift bag.
This gift bag folds flat and I explain in my tutorial how to make the bag even if you don’t have the SVG file.
I also cut a very small image of the house to make a matching gift tag.
Check out my full tutorial below.
I hope you liked this gift bag idea, as I mentioned above I plan on sharing 1 digital die tutorial each week along with my usual Monday, Wednesday & Friday tutorials. I’m aware that so many of you have digital machines, I think it would be nice to share some tutorials using my Cricut machine.
Thank you for stopping by.

Such a lovely gift bag. I’m thinking about how I would make something similar without the digital die.
What an adorable bag Sam. Love the colors you have chosen!
