Hi Everyone, today I’m sharing some pretty Edge Border Shaker Cards.
These beautiful cards were made using my ‘Bright Rosa’ Edge Builder Dies and ‘John Next Door’ flower plate dies.
The Bright Rosa dies are available here.
The John Next Door dies are available from here.
I love mixing brands and I think these two work really well together.
For the Sentiments, I used the Dovecraft Occasions & Essentials sets along with the Dovecraft ‘Happy Birthday’ Toppers available here.
To distress and colour my flowers I used the Makeup Blending Brushes from Amazon here.
Giving your flowers some form of shape really brings them to life. You can use your fingers or the back of a pencil. I have a large ball stylus but I’ve linked a flower shaping tool here to give you an idea.
My cards were 5″ x 7″ in size, but you can make yours any size you like.
Please check my full tutorial below to see how I made them.
I loved putting these cards together, Shaker cards are one of my favourite style cards to make.
I love the shading on the ivy and the detail in the Orchids.
The detail in the centre of the flowers really finishes them off, I cant wait to try them with flower forming form.
Which ones your favourite?
Thank you for popping by.
Happy crafting
Sam
