Hi everyone, after all of the cards I’ve been making lately I’m now in a gift bag and box mood!
Today I have this Adorable Mini Faceted Handbag with a Bead Handle.
This is a combination of my Large Faceted Gift Bag and my Treat Gift Bag, videos for these are shared below.
I love making smaller versions of my gift bags and have some other cute ones to share over the coming weeks!
The beaded handles are my favourite part, they match perfectly and really gift the bag a special finish.
My handmade tassel and butterfly charm also add a nice touch.
These beautiful papers were a gift from my friend Kimmy, they are by Carta Bella and I’ve found them available from Hey Little Magpie here in the UK, you can also buy the papers individually, which is good. If you are outside the UK they are available from Scrapbook.com here.
To make these gift bags you will need…
1 piece of 12″ x 12″ pattern paper.
Score along the 12″ side at 3″ & 9″
Rotate and score along the other 12″ side at 5″ & 7″, you then also want to score at 4.1/2 & 7.1/2 but only down to the first scoreline. The flip the cardstock and repeat the scoring.
1 piece of 6″ x 4.1/2 pattern paper for the lid.
Score along the 4.1/2 side at 4″
1 piece of 3″ x 2.1/2 pattern paper for the tassel
Score along the 2.1/2 side at 1/2″
Beads or ribbon for the handle.
Twine for the tassel.
2 pieces of 3/4″ x 4.1/2 pattern paper for the bow.
1 piece of mirrored card to wrap in the centre of the bow.
1 piece of 1″ x 1″ mirrored cardstock for the faux metal detail on the lid.

And for the Treat Handbag, I mentioned please check my tutorial below.
These are being given to some friends who I know will appreciate these.
All the fine details work really well together.
