Laminator Projects

Partially Laminated DIY File Folder

Hi everyone, I’ve been needing a couple of smaller files to organise all the die-cut images from my own collections and decided to make these files which are similar to ones I made a few years ago.

I’ve partially laminated these to make them a little stronger, however, they work well without being laminated.

These have 5 compartments, and it’s surprising how much these can hold.

SUPPLIES USED TO MAKE THESE

My laminator is the Royal Sovereign A4 Laminator PL-901, which doesn’t seem to be available anymore. However, I’ve shared links to their others, along with another link below of another machine I used to have and liked available here.

I also had this one here which was good

My Snaps kit., many sellers have increased their prices, this one was the cheapest. I purchased mine over 2 years ago available here.

MEASUREMENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE

1 piece of 4″ x 8.1/2 card for the flap, score along the 4″ side at 1/2″ & 2″

2 pieces of 6″ x 8.1/2 card for the front & back.

1 piece of 3″ x 8.1/2 card for the base, score along the side at 3/4″ & 2.1/4

2 pieces of 6 x 6.1/4 card for the sides. Score along the 6″ side at every 1/2″

4 pieces of 6.1/4 x 8.1/4 card for the dividers.

Laminating pouches (optinal)

Check out my full tutorial below to see how I made them.
