MIXED UP CRAFT

Explosion Box Card with Slider Lid and 3D Birthday Cake!

Hi everyone, after putting a request out on my Facebook page, lots of people asked if I would make an Explosion Box Card!

I’ve made these before and have a few styles on my channel, however I’ve never made one with a cake inside!

I was also asked to use my Slider die set, so I included that as well and added it onto the lid for another surprise element!

These cards can be made for most occasions, they are great for adding photos and for wedding and engagements cards.

You don’t have to add the cake, you may wish to keep the centre free and pop a small gift box there or a small gift.

I made this Graduation version a few years ago to give you another idea. Check out my tutorial here.

You can see you don’t have to add all 3 layers, with this version just having the one.

I also made this pretty version and put a real Bath Bomb in the middle. Check out my tutorial here.

These would be good as table favours at a baby shower or as gifts to give the Bridesmaids and Groomsmen.
